Terms and Conditions

YallaMashoor is operated by Basha Technology Solutions LLC, based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (“YallaMashoor”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing the service, creating an account, submitting a listing, publishing a reaction or completing a payment, you agree to these Terms, our Rules and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If these Terms conflict with the public Rules, these Terms take precedence. Headings are provided for convenience and do not limit the meaning of any provision.

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into these Terms.
• If you use YallaMashoor for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your Clerk-authenticated account and for keeping access to that account secure.
• Account information must be accurate and may not impersonate or misrepresent another person or organization.

We may suspend access where necessary to prevent abuse, protect the service or enforce these Terms. Suspension blocks future authenticated activity but does not automatically remove otherwise lawful published content.

You may submit a legitimate product, startup, website, application, service or developer project that you own or are authorized to represent, provided it is built by a MENA-based founder or team, or is meaningfully built for customers in the MENA region. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and continued availability of the submitted destination and supporting social links.

• Paid publication: Completing the one-time amount shown at Stripe checkout publishes the listing after payment confirmation.
• Badge publication: You may publish without the listing fee by displaying the official YallaMashoor badge and passing verification. The approved badge must remain visible and correctly linked while using this option.

Publication confirms inclusion, not a guaranteed rank, amount of traffic, number of reactions or commercial outcome. YallaMashoor may correct categories, hide misleading content or remove listings that do not meet MENA eligibility or otherwise violate these Terms or the Rules.

Listings are ranked from published community reactions using the same scoring method for every product: Toast × 3 + Meh × 1 − Roast × 1, with publication time used to break equal scores. Payment does not buy a vote, ranking boost or fixed placement.

YallaMashoor may use an AI service to draft a short reaction from the product's public name, tagline and selected reaction type. The member decides whether to approve the generated text and remains responsible for content they publish. We may hide reactions that are abusive, discriminatory, unsafe, deceptive or otherwise violate our Rules.

Product names, taglines, favicons, logos and preview images may be submitted by you or fetched from public metadata at the destination URL. You retain ownership of content you own.

By submitting content, you grant YallaMashoor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, cache, resize, adapt, reproduce and publicly display it as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights required to grant this license and that the listing does not infringe another party's rights.

Paid listings are processed through Stripe in the currency and amount displayed at checkout. Stripe, not YallaMashoor, receives and processes full payment-card details. Applicable taxes may be added where required.

Listing payments are final and non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Refunds are not provided because of ranking changes, limited traffic, community reactions, temporary downtime or moderation resulting from a violation of these Terms.

If you believe a payment is unauthorized or incorrect, contact us before initiating a dispute where reasonably possible. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or a lawful right to challenge an unauthorized transaction.

You must not use YallaMashoor to:

• Publish group invitations, adult content, malware, phishing, scams, unlawful services or infringing material.
• Submit a product without the authority to represent it or impersonate another person or business.
• Manipulate reactions, create duplicate listings, automate abusive traffic or evade technical limits.
• Probe, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to YallaMashoor, its users, infrastructure or data.
• Use generated reactions to harass, threaten or target the people behind a product.

YallaMashoor is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim express and implied warranties and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, traffic, ranking, sales, investment or other results.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, YallaMashoor and Basha Technology Solutions LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability arising from a specific paid listing will not exceed the amount paid for that listing during the three months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Basha Technology Solutions LLC and the YallaMashoor operators from third-party claims, reasonable legal costs and damages resulting from your content, destination URL, unlawful conduct or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

We may hide content, remove a listing, request badge changes, suspend an account or restrict access where we reasonably believe the Rules, these Terms or applicable law have been violated. We may also discontinue or change features of the service.

Provisions concerning payment obligations, intellectual-property licenses, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination where their nature requires it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, excluding conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected. For non-consumer disputes, courts at our place of residence in the UAE have exclusive jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when revisions are published. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
